The Robot People are seeking to expand their team and recruit current Mechatronic/Mechanical Engineering Undergraduate students who are looking for exposure in the field of Industrial Automation and Robotics as part of their internship program.

Mechatronic Engineering Internship

With the continued success of our internship program, The Robot People are seeking to expand the team and recruit current Mechatronic Engineering Undergraduate students.


As a successful applicant you will receive accredited Universal Robots training and will work with the latest robotic technologies, such as Universal Robot’s Collaborative Robots, Vision Systems, Programming Software and Machine Guidance tools.

You will be working alongside and mentored by a team of Mechatronic Engineers to solve various automation & robotics design and application challenges. This will involve designing, CAD modelling, prototyping, testing, and software integration in real-world industrial applications.

 

Requirements:

  • 3rd year or higher undergraduate student studying Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent

  • Skilled in Programming, CAD modelling, Engineering Drawing, and Mechanical Design

  • Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team environment

  • Innovative thinking and strong problem-solving abilities

  • Willingness to work with and learn from a team of Engineers

 

This robotics internship is flexible in the hours you can work and suitable for Undergraduate students who are looking to complete their industrial training, with your hours credited towards your university course. Please note this an unpaid mechatronic engineering internship and you will need to use your own laptop. It is also preferred that a minimum of two full days are completed weekly, with opportunity to increase as it suits your schedule.
